Discovering the reason behind it:-
There are some reasons to say that chronic fatigue syndrome causes are really needed to be understood. There are people who are born with the predisposition for the disorder and then triggered by a combination of factors. These are like;-
• There are viral infections which develop because of a chronic fatigue syndrome after the infection. There are even some kinds of viruses who trigger the disorder. Still, it’s under research and no conclusion is yet being discovered.
• It is even noted that the cause of chronic fatigue syndrome can be a problem in the immune system. This appears to be impaired slightly but it’s still unclear if this impairment is enough to really cause the disorder or not.
• Hormonal imbalance which is because of the abnormal blood level of hormones being produced in the hypothalamus region, pituitary glands or adrenal glands. But the significance of these abnormalities is still undiscovered.
Risks of the disorder:-
There are a lot of factors that might increase the risk of chronic fatigue syndrome which includes age as a factor. It is mostly seen that the disorder affects people at the age of 40s and 50 s.
Apart from that women are likely to suffer from the disorder in comparison to men. Even those who get into stress a lot would contribute to the development of chronic fatigue syndrome.
Possible complications of the disorder include depression, social isolation, lifestyle restrictions, increased work absences etc.
