Essay on newspaper
There is no doubt that, there has been the extraordinary change in the mindset of people with the coming of satellite television, but on the other side we cannot say goodbye to the newspapers. In newspapers there are so many news items are present, which are not displayed on TV. So in this way, we cannot say goodbye to the newspapers and there is no replacement of newspaper with television.
Firstly, there are many classified ad columns in the newspaper in which people can easily advertise and grow their business. In other words, getting information from newspapers we do not depend on the timings of television. We can read interesting articles at any time of the day, and to obtain and glean spicy news at any time of the day. So we cannot say that newspapers have become obsolete.
On the other hand, it can be observed that sometimes no two newspapers account the same information. No two newspapers events published are same. One newspaper published that, old woman killed in bomb blast, while another printed that, a sixteen-year-old girl died in a bomb blast. So, sometimes every newspaper has a different story to tell in a different way. So sometimes it is very difficult for innocent readers to reach the reality of news. Sometimes newspapers drab advertisements and false political propaganda. So newspaper should avoid publishing false news otherwise people cannot reach to the real and authentic news.
On the flip side, through the satellite television, we can watch any event happening anywhere in the world at any time. Apart from that, what is recorded by the camera is more authentic and objective than the second-hand report of the individual which is bound to be subjective. But we cannot say that there is nothing worthwhile in the newspaper.
In conclusion, I think that newspaper is a necessary part of life; we cannot begin the day by pressing the TV Switch. I agree that sometimes it is not feasible for everyone to glance and see headlines in the TV early in the morning. In the modern era, most people prefer to glance at the headlines in the newspaper and look forward to reading the entire newspaper later in the day.
