Electricity Reached All Villages From 28 April 2018 onwards
The invention of Electricity is really blessing for everyone. We use electricity in many ways. So we cannot the importance of electricity. Electricity has given us many facilities such as light. Electricity gives us amenities to run machines and factories. We get many benefits from electricity, with the advent of advanced technology electrical appliances such as refrigerators and coolers invented. With the help of electricity, we cool the room with air conditioner and heat the rooms with room heaters, There are many electrical appliances available in the market that runs only with the help of electricity. If we go down into the history of electricity it widened the path of progress of man by opening new subsidiary products. So everyone can realize the importance of electricity.
Now All the Indian Villages can enjoy the electricity. The last village that carried on the National Power grid was Leisang Village in the Senapati district of Manipur at 5:30 pm on Saturday’s 28 April 2018. it is good news that all Indian villages have access to electricity.
The government appointed rural electrification corporation nodal agency for executing this scheme. Under this scheme, it is possible for all people who reside in all Indian villages can easily access of electricity. The electricity reached to all villages through the marquee Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana.From 28 April onwards all the villages that were not able to access electricity can easily enjoy electricity either through the national grid or off-grid solutions.In the modern era, everyone can realize the importance of electricity.
On 15 August when Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a speech, he promised to electrify all unelectrified villages within 1000 days. He implemented his plan and provision of electricity to lots of Indian villages before the given deadline. This scheme will also get improvement in India’s per capita power consumption of around 1200 Kwh which is among the lowest in the world.
The last village that access to national electricity grid was Leisang. It is located in Sadar Hills West Sub Division of Senapati District of Manipur. Its population is 65. It comprises 31 males and 34 females. There are 19 families resided in the village.
With the advent of civilization, a man started to work to find the hidden treasure of nature according to his necessity and needs. He starts to discover many articles and goods by using his new techniques, mind, and with inner intellectual power. He started to do work with his hands in order to discover something new. With efforts of man, slowly new articles came to exist. Some intelligent men discovered wonderful items of daily needs of people. So their inventions prove a boon for us. Electricity is one of the wonderful inventions that has discovered by creative minds and intellectuality.In this era, everyone has awareness the importance of electricity.
Uses of Electricity
It is a fact our education to some extent depends on electricity. The printing of books, magazines, reading books is only possible by printing press that is run by electricity.
Electricity provides an opportunity to millions of people for employment. It is a fact that all the machines and factories properly run by electricity.So everyone can understand the importance of electricity and make efforts to save it.
Electricity plays an important role in the agricultural field, Electricity proves very useful in the agriculture field. Many motors run by electricity and only motors are the source to draw motors from the tube wells to irrigate the fields to get the good yield.
So in the modern world, we cannot suppose a life without electricity. The progress of the country will come to stop without electricity. The progress in industrial, economic and social development will standstill without electricity.
Electricity also plays an important role in domestic work. Electricity and invention of electrical appliances make our domestic life easy and comfortable. Many electrical appliances developed like the radio, television, cinema by inventors and all these electrical appliances today inevitable part of our life.
Even the modern financial and economic progress of the country depends on electricity. Even today transportation system such as railways has totally depended on electricity. So today not only big factories and heavy machines are made to run by the electricity but railways also which run on electricity.
Railway engines no doubt increases the speed of the railways as well as greatly have shortened the distance. It has also solved the problem of pollution and smoke by the use of coal in the industrial units and railway engines.So in this era, everyone knows the importance of electricity.
With the invention of electricity, the use of the telephone and the telegraph is possible. With the advanced technology mobile phones and telegraphs are invented it is easy for everyone to send messages from one place to another within seconds. Electricity has enhanced the business also.In the field of medical science, it has proved a blessing. With the invention of the X-ray machine, the doctors can take the photographs of the internal parts of the human body and can cure a patient of his ailments easily.So everyone can perceive the importance of electricity.
Conservation of Electricity
Our daily lives have totally depended on electricity. Electricity is the kind of energy that is used in the form of heat, light, and power. We use electricity in daily routine to power the electrical appliances such as televisions, computers, stoves and washing machines. So it is the responsibility of a homeowner to conserve energy. We have to purchase the energy star products from the market that helps to reduce consumption of energy as well as reduce electricity bills and prevent the environment from global warming.
We also follow some safety rules in homes for the conservation of energy. We should switch off the lights as well as electrical appliances before leaving the home. We should unplug all the chargers when its battery is full. We should prefer lower wattage fluorescents light to reduce the consumption of energy.
Solar energy is another alternative to save electricity. Solar energy is the convenient process to produce electricity. This process creates no air pollution, no noise pollution. You run all the appliances by using the renewable source of energy.
