American Independence Day
Nations celebrate the American Independence day on 4th July every year. On this day there is a birth of a nation and the biggest holiday enjoyed by everyone across the pond. It is a federal holiday. On this day, U. S won their independence from the British Empire after the revolutionary war.
In the U.S there is a declaration of Independence Day on 4th July 1776, 241 years ago. On this day, people excited to joy their happiness. The joy of children knew no bounds. The entire city well decorated with flags, the government buildings the salutes of the departed leaders garlanded and decorated with flowers. India has been the slave for about four hundred years under the rule of foreign powers. Firstly, Indian country is enslaved by Muslims. Then Moghuls came. Moghuls ruled over India for a long period. Indians had suffered all the atrocities and cruelties by Britishers. Indian people at that time believe that it has been written in their destiny to be slaves. But some great Indians men decided to come forward and to give sacrifices for sake of the country. Moreover awakened more masses to participate in this struggle, make full efforts to free our country from the rule of Britishers.
The struggle for Independence started which lasted for over 90 years from 1857 to 1947. Millions of lives were lost and many people sacrificed their lives, wealth, property, children, mother, sisters, and fathers.

Finally, a day came when India got freedom from the British rule Lord Mountbatten. Lord Mountbatten Handed over the administration to the government of India. On 15 Th August 1947, the first prime minister of India addressed the people of India from the ramparts of the red fort. Since after this day India started to celebrate Independence Day with great joy, freedom, and liberty.
On 15 The August every year it is customary that Prime Minister arrives at the red fort and discusses all the problems which India is confronting first of all flags hoists and National Anthem sung. Prime Minister salutes from the three wings. After the speech of prime minister the crowd melts very slowly, Prime Minister departed from there.
On Independence Day, all the cities towns, villages organized functions. There are so many leaders attended the function organized by cities, towns, villages and addresses the speech to the people and gives tribute to the warriors who sacrifice for the sake of the country. All the people on Independence Day remember the sacrifices of the warrior who sacrifices their lives for the sake of the country and gave tribute to them by heart. Homage was sent to those great leaders. Schools, Municipalities, Rashtrapati Bhawan Secretariat buildings were well decorated on this occasion. On Independence Day all people illuminated their buildings with colorful lights. It presented beautiful sights. Many cultural programmes were performed and many patriotic songs were sung. Many shits, short dramas were performed that high lighting the problems confronting Modern India.
On this day, all the offices, banks, post offices, businesses as well as organizations closed due to the national holiday. Independence Day is celebrated on 15 August 1947, in all schools, colleges, and other educational institutions with full enthusiasm. It is a public holiday for all communities and societies.
